Drama Drama Drama ...

Another year has gone by! Maybe this will just be an annual blog. Hahaha. I was on Facebook for a while but, alas, as is with life, drama sprang up! But I'm a journalist, a scrapper (reference to the movie "New In Town" hehe), I have a need to express my thoughts and feelings. - Even though absolutely no one ever reads my blog. Oh Well...Its out there, in the world for someone to stumble upon and hopefully enjoy. I tried to make my blog more eye appealing but I'm not good with computers or figuring anything out technilogically. I can't figure out how to create something as beautiful as ohhellofriendblog.com. (if anyone wants to help me in this endeavor, my email is jstnlarock@yahoo.com) So anyways, I've been in the South for just over a year. Life is a roller coaster and we just have to enjoy the ride and make the most of it. I just lost my job, figuring things out in my first real relationship, and went home for the first time in over a year. It was a much needed trip. I DID NOT REALIZE just how much I missed Massachusetts, HOME. All the pictures above are from my trip. I had a lot more pictures and wish I could've posted them. Missing my friends and family like crazy! Seeing them makes me want to move back so much but the cost of living is double up there. Thats pretty much the only thing holding me back.... That's all for now, I'm so completely tired. I'm auxillary pioneering and have been going nonstop this month. OH PS...to any girl who dreams of a wedding, it isn't a federal offense to dream through Pinterest but just make sure it doesn't go on Facebook. Just a tip. :-) All for now. Love, J.

Life just gets in the way!

Hey Readers~ oh wait I have none. Hahahaha. Its been nearly a year since my last post on here! How crazy. I tried to post something nearly a month or so ago at the Giffee's house documenting some of my last memories in Massachusetts. But it obviously didn't show up.
A lot has happened this past year. Too much to ever recount. Basically, I now live in South Carolina. Been here about a month. Its a very different culture down here - the environment, people, attitudes, economy, even the brothers and sisters. But I love it! My ministry has been wonderful. I just started working as a teller at a bank called Regions this past Tuesday. My new friends are amazing! That's a complete understatement. Shane and Seth Lathan, Kelsey and Brent Williams, and Haylie Lantz are the people I feel most comfortable with. (Ironically, they're all related! haha)
Having some roommate issues but my resolution is to apply the principles set out in the Bible for us and try to learn a lesson in endurance. Jehovah teaches us and molds us through every trial if we let him and I certainly am a work in progress needing more refinement. I find that my knee jerk reaction to trying circumstances is to find a way out of them but by enduring a situation, I could grow so much more. I think my attitude and how I handle conflicts needs adjustment. Maybe this is what Jehovah is trying to help me see. But who knows, I could just be speculating too. hahaha.
I truly want to make a better life for myself and to be a better person. Moving has provided me the fresh start and the ability to move on and put the past behing me. I know that everything will work out if I just keep doing things Jehovah's way and always remember what's important in this life. This system, and all the problems that come along with it, are merely temporary!!!
I will try to blog every once in a while...for real haha. Kinda hard when the laptop you're using gets fried in a lightning storm....along with the beloved microwave! Hope all is well my loves.
Love, Justy

The Road Not Taken - Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

There is no healing without help.
There is no power as potent as possibility.
There is no transformation without truth.
There is no change without vulnerability.
There is no beauty without struggle.
There is no statement like your life.
There is no end.
There are only beginnings

Probably wondering where these pictures came from. Well, I'm sure everyone remembers Hurricane Katrina which happened in 2005. Relief efforts were organized right away - as we know, Jehovah's People always work fast! In Sterling, Ma - Bro Sponenburg was kind enough to let his facility be used to play a part in the work. Kitchen Associates was the site where kitchen and bathroom countertops were sanded and then shipped via truck down to Louisana, USA. Each month, a group of volunteers got together and sanded their butts off to contribute and play a part. It was an amazing experience and I'm so happy to have been able to share in rebuilding not only the homes, but also the lives of our brothers and sisters. Many friendships were formed and horizons were expanded. Above are pics of us hard at work and of course I look crappy in all of them. lol. Enjoy! John 13:34 I am giving YOU a new commandment, that YOU love one another; just as I have loved YOU, that YOU also love one another. 35 By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves.”
